禁止刊登內容 / Prohibited content
本法律文件的正式繁體中文翻譯尚未完成。在專業法律翻譯完成前,以下顯示英文原文(正本)。
This policy applies to every job advertisement and all content posted on Waholi. By posting, you agree to follow it. Waholi is a job-advertising board for working-holiday-visa holders in Japan; listings must be lawful, genuine, and appropriate for that audience.
1. We review content — we do not verify people
Waholi reviews listings against this policy and removes ones that break the rules. This is content moderation, not identity verification. We do not verify the identity, legitimacy, or visa-sponsorship status of any employer. A listing passing review, or being visible, means "content policy reviewed, not identity-verified" — it is not an endorsement. Always verify an employer independently.
2. Prohibited listings
You may not post, and we will remove, listings that:
- Adult-entertainment / 風俗 work. Work in adult-entertainment businesses (風俗営業) — including hostess/host clubs, sexual or adult services, and related work — is prohibited on a working-holiday visa and is not allowed on Waholi. There is no adult category, and such listings are removed.
- Illegal work or visa-violating work. Any work that breaks Japanese law, or that a working-holiday visa does not permit, or that would put the worker in breach of their visa conditions.
- Pay-to-apply / fee scams. Any listing that asks an applicant to pay to apply, pay a deposit, pay for "training," pay for a visa, or pay for accommodation before work begins. A legitimate employer never charges a seeker to apply or to get a job.
- False, bait, or misleading listings. Fake or non-existent jobs, wages / hours / housing that do not match the real role, bait-and-switch offers, or listings posted to harvest personal data rather than to hire.
- Discriminatory wording. Unlawful or unjustified restrictions or preferences by gender, age, nationality, religion, or similar attributes, contrary to Japanese job-advertising norms. State only genuine, lawful job requirements (e.g. a required Japanese level for the role, or a visa type that lawfully permits the work).
- Multi-level-marketing, recruitment-of-recruiters, or commission-only "business opportunity" schemes presented as jobs, and chain-referral or pyramid arrangements.
- Placement / brokering through the platform. Listings whose real purpose is to run an employment-placement (職業紹介) or labour-broker business through Waholi rather than to advertise a real, direct position.
- Offensive, harmful, or unlawful content — harassment, hate, violence, weapons, drugs, malware/phishing, or anything illegal.
Non-monetary / accommodation-in-exchange-for-work arrangements: Waholi allows listings where the compensation is non-monetary (e.g. free room and board in exchange for help). These are user-posted and content-reviewed — Waholi does not vet whether the actual arrangement complies with 最低賃金法 (minimum wage law) or determines the worker's labour-law status. Before accepting any such role, seekers must independently confirm the terms of the arrangement and that it complies with their visa conditions and applicable labour law.
3. Required listing information
Employers must provide accurate, adequate information, including:
- real company name, a real address, prefecture/city, and a working contact email and phone;
- a genuine, currently-open role with an honest description, location, and wage information;
- honest required-Japanese level and the visa type(s) the role can lawfully accept;
- housing-provided and seasonal start/end details where relevant.
Missing, implausible, or unverifiable employer details are grounds for rejection. This is content adequacy, not identity verification. Keep listings current and close them when filled.
4. Formatting rules
- Listings are plain text. HTML, scripts, and rich text are not allowed and are escaped; links in text are rendered inert.
- Do not put contact-for-payment instructions, external application fees, or attempts to move applicants off-platform to evade these rules.
5. Moderation, reporting, and takedown
- First-post review: a new employer's first listing is reviewed before it goes live. Auto-publish is earned only after a prior approved post; a rejected post does not grant it. Later posts are subject to post-hoc moderation.
- Reporting: any job or employer can be reported. Reports enter an admin queue with a 24–48 hour target review window and are rate-limited to deter abuse.
- Takedown & repeat offenders: listings that breach this policy (illegal work, fee-to-apply scams, false/bait listings, prohibited categories) are removed. Repeat offenders are suspended and all their listings removed. Moderation actions are logged.
6. How to report
Use the report option on a job or employer page, or contact support@waholi.jp. If you have been asked to pay to apply or for a job, see our scam-awareness guidance — and report it.
Waholi is a job-advertising platform. We review content but do not verify the identity, legitimacy, or legal/visa status of employers or job seekers — verify independently.
